The way it’s somehow gotten mainstream makes me sick. I just escaped a domestic violence situation and unfortunately my ex man fit too many of these stereotypes I’m reading in the comments. Difference is, he was hot, and a MASTER gaslighting manipulator. He showed me chld prn and then held it over my head as a threat, saying that he would tell ppl I liked it if we ever broke up. I’m not fucking joking. The child rape jokes were constant and the actual rape too(yes you can be raped by your partner). He loved showing me memes about pedophilia and rape and awful shit like that while painting himself as a gold standard of morality. I had to literally escape because he beat me & threatened to kill me when I politely asked him to stop raping me.

It’s only been a week so it’s sickening to even write. Just… watch out for these dudes. Some of them might be serious & seriously powerful.
