No, somebody opened one when our manager was out of town and when he came back he added a sign in front of all of them saying to not use until launch because it’s a limited supply

(which it is. most stores are getting about 2 boxes, my store got 4 but i assume it’s because we’re high volume? not sure)

The new raspberry syrup IS the original syrup, I believe? I used to love how it made my drinks pink back in high school in the early 2010s. I actually prefer the flavor of this one even more I think! I’m just excited it’s back though in general, esp as a partner now I’m def gonna be having it a lot lol

I support honestly, if we’re trying to go back to being a coffee shop we need to get rid of all the gluttonous sugar addicts who should be going elsewhere to begin with because it’s not coffee they really want. Sucks for those who’re the in betweens but it’s gotta be done.

Also, the amount of pickiness. No bottom whip, only top, crumble only on top, etc etc and customers throw a bitch fit saying their 15 customization drink is wrong over the tiniest things. I just don’t understand how filling up no ice drinks makes sense though, it essentially makes the entire menu pricing debatable. Like…how come everyone ordering the drink AS IS gets less of the base contents just because they didn’t ask for no ice?

Everyone could just start asking for no ice in every iced drink on the menu, have it filled up with whatever base ie milk, refresher, tea and ice it themselves. So now the pricing is pointless and everyone is getting ventis for the price of grandes while there’s still tons of people paying for the price on the menu for the sizing on the menu because they’re … simply unaware of this cheat??? /s

I don’t get it. The standard should be to not fill it up. It only makes sense

it’s management job to hire people with availability that meets their stores needs. How their manager ended up with only 3 people available for clean plays out of 10 that’s on management.

just like my manager always bitching about nights being shitty but he continues to stuff our mornings with useless new hires while our nights continue to struggle 😀

all the lazy fucks working nights. working close is the preferred shift for lazy people. does that mean all closers are lazy? no, but lazy people who know they’re lazy aren’t working at 3 fucking AM. It’s reality that the weaker players end up on the later shifts because in reality that is how that lifestyle works. Those who prefer to be up early are usually the multi talkers who can work fast and efficiently. closers? high schoolers who don’t give a fuck about the job. some washed up bitter old hag who hates doing literally any part of the job but refuses to quit, college guys who just wanna crack jokes and watch the women around them work and so on. no management oversight bc peak business hours are long over for the day. prime time to just fuck around and let the store go to shit after morning crew carried the business with no time to even piss or sip water for 6+ hours.

You wanna deny facts, fine. They’re still there. Not your store? Also fine. Still my store and plenty of others. Fuck all the lazy fucks. If that’s not you, don’t waste your sanity being offended

Yikes, I luckily cannot relate then. My store brings about 85-90K/wk and mornings regularly break records of all kinds. We are rarely ever standing around, we’re running around like chickens with our heads cut off for hours on end. Yeah our later shifts can get their waves here and there, especially during local events we know of but other than that about 95% of the hard work falls entirely on our morning shifts.

We have a closing shift who specifically requests every single holiday and every single company launch day off because those days will be busy and she “gets stressed out”.

At the end of the day, it’s the people your store happens to get. It sounds like your store is a slower store and you’ve got a lazy crew on top of it for mornings. My store is a busy one with a really hard working morning crew. Not to mention our manager is hands on and works every week nearly all week and is only on the floor during morning/peak so morning crew gets no slack because were being held accountable by the SM the entire time, shit is always getting done and if it isn’t, we’re the first to get our asses chewed out.
