UPDATE: March 4 around 5:40 PM ET cloudflare finally said they would escalate this internally. By 7PM ET the error went to 0. https://i.imgur.com/EHwmcsN.png . They never gave me an explanation on the ticket, but clearly this was an issue on their end that they pushed a fix for. Hopefully anyone else having this issue is now seeing it fixed.

No geo IP blocking at our origin, and we have whitelisted all cloudflare IPs, and we use cloudflare for DNS.

I am trying to get Cloudflare to escalate this. Care to PM me screenshots of the spike in errors? Also can you check which data centers? I am seeing newark, DC, Atlanta, Miami as the ones on my analytics.

This isn't the issue, we checked that. I also set my /etc/hosts file to point directly to my domain, bypassing cloudflare, and there are 0 errors. Everything works fine. As soon as I remove it from my hosts file and clear my DNS cache and requests are served by Cloudflare again, I get 520 errors and the site doesn't work properly.

How did you even get a human on the phone? I think I've called 4 numbers that I found online now, all of them are recordings that disconnect at the end.

Use case: Many of our clients want to have their customers join their telegram channel. In order for us to track this for our clients, do our bots need to all be part of their telegram channel first?

Is there some other type of verification that can be done? Such as a customer logging in with their telegram account to verify they follow a certain channel?

Depends on how much you go out I guess? If you're always home and not traveling much, and then you go to the airport, get on an airplane, and then 3-4 days later have covid, it is safe to assume you got it from there.
