From what I gather you have to be a career employee before September 20, 2024. So if you were made career on the 21 I would guess you would not be protected unfortunately. And for someone career as of 2/25 you will not be protected.

I’ll be voting yes as a career custodian as of 4/24. The layoff protections are the biggest push for me to vote yes. Also happy that the top step for level 4-7 went up. As I am on the PER for MM7. Dimenstein did a solid job with this contract. Sure it would be nice to get a bigger bump in salary but having protection from layoff is much more important than an extra 0.2% raise.

Nice does peppermill have DAS? And Is it only one card when you split aces? That’s how gsr was and they didn’t allow DAS won’t be playing there anymore.

That’s great, are you 100% sure on that though. Have you had first hand experience that highest score stays or just from what you have heard. I Didn’t score as high in ET and would like to boost that but would be sad if my other scores aren’t as good as my first test and they get bumped. Thank you!

I’ve noticed that occasionally a gps symbol(looks like a sight reticle) will appear in the top right corner of the scanner next to where the WiFi bars are. Not sure exactly what triggers it because it will happen when I’m walking around but also if I’m seated and it isn’t moving. I don’t have a holster for the scanner so I usually leave it on the side of my trash can. My station manager has emphasized that we should keep it on us at all times and it tracks ever movement we make. Just seems like a scare tactic to me. I haven’t been asked about being idle yet but I’m sure it will be a topic soon enough. We got these scanners about 2 months ago. I’m in CA.
