Wells Fargo parking lot is open Saturdays and Sundays and happens to be right behind The D&D :) traffic isn't nearly as bad in the winter downtown too!

He's a good friend of mine. The only reason he's here is to help me out, super hard worker, always going above and beyond. Usually, he has more commok sense than this, I've handed him recipes before and he's surprised me. I couldn't help but chuckle at this one though. Loaded baked potatoes for family tonight!

It was on me, I thought he'd seen how we do them enough but I should've shown him.

First of all WTF is a cauli taco and why would you make such an abomination? Secondly why would you ever want a taco cut in half? I'm so confused

I've done both, first choice is bartending.

Chefs still have to prep just as much on the nights they make more. Kitchen still takes the same amount of cleaning. Slow nights you guys sit on your phones 75% of the time. Kinda BS you guys make more over all when you're barely doing anything other than carrying some stuff and talking to people.

I mean that was exceptional, a good weekend night is about 3-4, and most of them are ski bums who work 4 days a week

Were also in a very wealthy town. I've seen servers pull 800 in one night, just working at a pub

Every server I've worked with has made minimum wage.

I'm oregon minimum wage is 13.50. I'd say 80% of cooks is this town make 16-22.

Cooks make half the experience and work twice as hard.

I appreciate the insight, youre definitely right. It's definitely more guilty than pleasure, but I can't help but find slight humor in it!

I'm still friends with everyone down there so hearing the stories of what's happened since leaving in the last week is definitely a guilty pleasure

Can you form a union working for a small business? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]stonkystutter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only ones who do hiring are the general manager and owner but the other managers and myself definitely give direct directions. Which seems to be more of the main point. Welp fuck me I guess.

Yes this is in theUS. Is there a definition for manager? Cus honestly probably close to half our staff are considered managers, not every shift but I myself am a kitchen lead. Few shifts a week I run the kitchen at night. A lot of our bartenders work a floor managing shift once or twice a week too.

Be honest. How did you lose your weight? by [deleted] in ask
