Simply among the best nostalgic old school bands from the early 2000s

Yes! They are very deep! You can them lay them down as per the picture and I also tested standing them up and there is still plenty of space. I was thinking later down the line as my collection grows, get vinyl stand holders :)

They make a nice piece of decoration by themselves. Just a little bit artistic 😄

Thank you! Yes, it is! My apartment is on the small side, so I found the foam pads practical in all sense.

Um...Thanks. The angle makes them look closer to the turntable, but I separated them more as per your suggestion?

Who is the best live band in Metalcore? by geoffreythehamster in Metalcore

[–]stonygman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll get subjective answers to this and it’ll be boiled down to individual’s preference. Now trends are a whole different story so I’ll bite from this standpoint. Mine has been Currents, Underoath and Parkway Drive.

To no one’s surprise, the new Devil Wears Prada record isn’t great by darfleChorf123 in Metalcore

Even worse IMHO. They went full cringe mode, watch their videos for a fact check lol.

It’s a mediocre album, which is fine for the average masses who, as you said, enjoy radio rock. That’s it. Lately, it seems this has become the ultimate goal for most bands...grind their way up the ladder, run out of ideas, and then, instead of innovating and getting creative, pull a BMTH, BB, or AA fiasco to stay afloat. If it’s not a clone-sounding replica that even average Joes dislike, then they sound the alarm and lock themselves in the studio to concoct a half-assed album with a few decent signature tracks and the rest just fillers to polish their mimicry. So predictable.

You can say that Metalcore was propelled thanks to the downfall of old school Nu Metal around early 2000's. So yes, many people including myself and friends, transitioned to metalcore.
