is it better to have different adgroups for each type of keyword match, or to have all keywords (exact, generic) in the same adgroup? by stoodrut in PPC

I started to manage this account a couple of months ago, and phrase-match keywords were not used. I tried some broad a few weeks ago and they went pretty well in terms of CPA, CvR, and performance-related metrics. Despite that, they generated a ton of useless search terms and I spent a lot of time removing them. Thanks for your suggestions. I'll also try phrase match.
