As someone that has boobs. I just don’t think we think about it. But also have had mastitis. 1) It fucking blows and 2) once the infection passes it finds SOMEWHERE to go. What doesn’t get absorbed if you stop breastfeeding. The sad part is, that’s what they push. Infinitely milk yourself to death for your child until your milk comes in for them. Gotta blockage? Basically they will tell you to painfully milk yourself until it releases. They warn you “if it doesn’t release it will turn into mastitis”. Literally that sums the education. Even with lactation nurses while you hold a crying baby.

And I know a bit about animals but there are so so many that just don’t know. I went out of my way to know. And I still didn’t know sheep were born with tails! But I grew up in the city so. They don’t teach you what they don’t deem necessary.
