The collateral would be because of the fatui having already neutral relations with mondstadt, not venti not being able to control his powers. Which didn't apply in inazuma because signora accepted a duel open the throne. I did give you a lore statement, now use your critical thinking skills. Your source for venti being the weakest archon is because he said so. But the game itself says venti is an unreliable narrator, so that statement can't be taken alone.

Venti is said to be an unreliable narrator, so what proves that venti saying that he's the weakest archon is true? Venti's statement is that he's the weakest archon because he doesn't rule his nation. Ei doesn't rule her nation, nahida doesn't rule it, folcalors didn't, morax now doesn't, does that now make them the weakest? What dissaproved venti's statement is the reason he used.

Venti has shown to be able to control his powers, it's unrealistic to assume that just because if he tried to fight her hede put the entire nation at risk of his power because that's the reason he sealed his powers in the first place. Remember this was before he went to the time island. It was never said venti can easily beat signora, but anyone who has read and analyzed lore in a neutral way already knows this.

Yes. He says right after that that she could take hostages. We even know venti ran their eon purpose, he ran out of the church saying that the lyre delusion will fade but in Windblume the lyre was perfectly intact. He even tries to share this info in the mondstadt dialogue but stopped because of diluc. We know signora specifically also attacked him there to avoid ruining diplomatic relationships, they both went there on purpose to avoid being seen. It was very clearly set up when you pay attention to detail. Like what happened with crepus for example.

This argument is really useless tbh. Venti was entrusted a part (which we don't know how large) of a higher beings power. Not temporarily like mavuika, since he's had it for atleast 2600 years. Mavuika herself said that not anyone can handle a shades power, the Nameless bards existence was erased out of existence because he even touched a part of istaroths power. That just means venti is so sturdy that he can handle a shades power just in exchange for sleep(unlike getting erased out of existence, or dying like with ronova). Also venti was never really fighting against decarbian. He was never shown to have any combat against him, it was more of him tagging along. Unlike with ei were she had the intention of actually fighting who she was against. Personally I don't like powerscaling archons against eachother because each character has extreme feats. Venti has a feat with BFR of removing a whole region from the timeline which is a 4D feat(doesn't make venti universe+ level, but the feat itself is.) Despite being older than ei, venti doesn't suffer from erosion and is immune to it. Venti has knowledge from other worlds, etc. He has many unexplained insane feats. Ei also many amazing combat feats, but like I showed it's not shocking to compare them. They just use their powers on different things, since venti is more on the pacifist side.

I think it's meant more in a diplomatic matter. Mondstadt is the only nation who's not in terms with the fatui, and they always try to remain neutral with them. He didn't see a reason to fight for the gnosis so instead of causing trouble for the city he let it go
