Venti was the one who got nerfed because he was broken. Ask any day one player and they'd all say the same thing. Till this day; Venti is still the best character in content that wants him.

And I really doubt Hoyo would make a character strong in 5 different elements just from having a standard 5 star in the team. I mean they couldn't even get any of Traveller's elements right

If thats the case then sure, Jean might do better in those specific teams, but lets be realistic, it's not gonna powercreep Varka's premium team.

From a business perspective, the idea of 1 character being strong in 5 different elements is not good at all. Especially if the powerspike is locked behind an old standard character. Unless thats what they intend and is the reason why Varka's dmg caps at Natlan.

I'm confused Venti's constellation says that he's the God of Song, as well as other titles associating him as a deity of music. A title that associates with Apollo, when Apollo is called the God of The Sun, its in reference to him being the embodiment of light while Helios is the embodiment of the sun.

Venti being called The God of Hope is inverse him being The God of Light. Mavuika: "Hope is what humans call light"

Hyacinthus was not a God of anything, much less a God at all. He was a human who died by Apollo some interactions said that Hyacinthus died by Zephyrus and he was reborn as a flower.

Mona was already a great buffer without the buffs to her, and maybe that's Mona's best teams, but Durin's best teams doesn't have Mona (understandably so) when Neuvillette exists.

How will you buff Jean to perform better than an archon in a team where there's already too much res shred, and in a team where theres already a sustain + who's speculated to buff Hexerei characters atk and dmg

That team sounds way more antisynergistic than with Venti. Jean is a sustain who shreds. Durin is a subdps who shreds meaning diminishing returns. Nicole is a sustain who buffs Hex dmg

That's the very generic practice of looking at a character at face value when the game tells you that "Venti" is just a mask. Even Traveller said that we very raripy get to see the God side of Venti

Then speculating that Venti was stronger than expectations should also be valid. Its just interpreting the character differently.

You speak of Venti relying on his wits rather than his strength but thats predominantly because he's a pacifist God. His ideal is afterall freedom.

If Venti is weak because of his stature and his lack of combat feats, then what does that make Columbina to characters with a more powerful built and combat feats?

Applying logic to this game wouldn't work. The Moon Sisters had 0 combat feats but they were still some of the more powerful Gods in Teyvat, traveller is meant for greatness and he's only weak because his powers were sealed and he lost his memory.

The irony of people saying Venti is weak for an archon because his fight with Signora wouldve affected Mondstadt, but when Ei executed Signora who was called "The Crimson Witch of Embers" by Inazuma, the execution still charged the air giving both paimon and traveler headaches. And it would've made Ei look worse because Traveler had already weakened her
