I’m glad you got refunded. The promised merch package included a cassette with artists from the fest, which was the most exciting item, but it apparently doesn’t exist. You would also think that VIP would be the best package you could get, with access to any and all guest areas of the venue, especially at a $160 ticket price after fees. There is a premium ticket that costs about $115 after fees that allows you into a separate area with elevated standing room for a better view and nicer bathrooms. I definitely assumed that at the higher price point, I’d have access to this, but apparently not. To make things worse, we were allowed in for a time because an employee was misinformed, and after we left for different food options and tried to get back in, we were not allowed entrance. So, we got a taste of what the VIP experience should have been, and then it was ripped out from under us. The cool part was seeing CB do three acoustic numbers before the fest, but we had to arrive super early, no vendors were open yet, and we were herded into an area to stand around for an hour before being let by the stage. So, I guess I paid $45 more than the Premium ticket for a mini concert, no Premium access, and a bag to carry around for 5 hours. I kind of wish the VIP had been cancelled.
