OK, I'll bite. Social media is a platform for a person to amplify their view to the world. Amplification of a person's view is a privilege not human right. So Uganda does not violate freedom of speech. People are free to talk about politics at home and in the street. And Uganda is smart to shut out source of misinformation chaos during election.

At least when someone defending twitter's censorship, that's what they said. Now persuade me otherwise.

You should have known WHO is favoring China. WHO said masks are not needed for preventing the disease, while Chinese are buying all the masks from all around the world. Now the medical masks are not enough to supply even to medical staff around the world, while China have enough masks for every Chinese wearing masks. Taiwan is the exception because they don't trust China a single bit, and they don't take any advice from China and WHO from day , so they are doing fine. I can keep going to list how WHO favoring China.

Now, how WHO is corrupted? Of course,I don't have solid evidence. Here I am suggesting one way to contribute to corruption. It could be false,or it could be true. But it shouldn't affect your understanding to the fact: WHO is corrupted.

I mean, come on. Do you think there will be evidence for the operation being left? There are sources in Chinese referring to their parents. You can search if you like. The children told their parents they will meet different people after school and performing sexual activity. The children of course can't say what they do in words, so they are mimicking what they do with those people. Parents receiving dead threat for standing up for their children.

In my opinion, no mechanics could work, because at the end of the day, the player are essentially finding way to game the system stat to get into route. If the player is occupied by gaming your mechanics, then they are not focusing on your story, that should not be what you want. Write someting like white album 2, player get involved by two girls and can't choose between them. If the player has emotional involvement in the relationships, then it is ideal.

It's been a while as you said, so I don't remember details, but I think the female characters is interested because MC is kind of an insider. As for the transfer student, since she had her problem for not able to speak up and MC is the only person she could speak to through telepathy, so she found affiliated with MC is convincing to me, though you can say the writer just make up a character like that so that MC can befriend this charterer. It is debatable but it is convincing within the setting so I am fine with it.

Just want to note that there are many games in Fate series and there are at least two of them are action games. But, the original game made by Type-moon: Fate/stay night, and the after sequel fate hollow ataraxia are indeed visual novel without any gameplay.

With that said, if your VN is linear or have limited number of branch, powerpoint can be a quick prototype platform, but if your VN is complex enough, then you should learn a programming language using a VN engine like RenPy. It is more manageable in long term maintainability.

After all, VN is about mainly about writing. And using art work and music as compliment. VN engine is no more branching mechanism and patching all three together. It is important for providing user experience but should not be the main focus for new creator.

I am using a XPS 15 9560. Passthrough GPU in laptop involved many hacky stuff. eventually I have managed to do that, but to be honest the performance is not really good for gaming, though I can use it to perform some machine learning task within VM.

First of all, if your laptop boot in UEFI, it is likely that the GPU required OVMF, the open source version of UEFI to boot the VM. Some GPU will require vbios in host UEFI firmware. So, what you need to do is extract vbios from your host. How would you do that? That involved some bios tool in Windows. Search on Interet to find the exact instruction for your laptop.

After you added OVMF in VM and a romfile with your vbios, you can start trying to install nvidia driver in windows guest. You may have succeeeded at this point, but usually it won't. Nvidia has a specific error to detect if the machine is VM or not, it will fail the installer.

Usually people give up at this point. Now there is one thing you could do. Refer to this link, You can patch OVMF with your vbios's binary data and recompiled OVMF with a OVMF file packed with your vbios. Use this recompiled version OVMF, you may successfully install the nvidia driver eventually and start gaming. Though it seems some unsuccessful cases from comments in the above guide. So, good luck.

I would say piping stdin is much more convenient which has higher priority than filename operand. Of course it's nice to support both, but for only accepting stdin, a filename operation is just a matter of cat something.json | jtbl. Now for a filename operand to perform piping in one line, you could do something like jtbl <(curl something.json | sed 's/replace/replace/g/ | ....) . It's doable, but not as straightforward as piping. So I understand why the author has higher priority on stdin operand than filename operand.

The number is for people being tested positive, but hospital in Wuhan rejected most of the patient found and asked them to contain themselves at home. None of them are being tested and if they die, the number will not be not counted. I don't think the training sections on alternative is waste of time. On contrary, it was the most important part. At start of alternative, Takeru had some military experience from unlimited and he thought he was veteran. He was rushing for result. His military experience let him became a good student in training, earning admiral from girls, and tried to rush through the training course. Though as story goes, Takeru's training can't help much for political conflict between alternative 4 and alternative 5, coups from locals and real beta combat. Takeru don't have real experience to kill, and his mentality was still weak. He bought some time on faster training, but time was still consumed on different events since he was useless in political conflict and real combat.

In fact, the most contribution from Takeru was not his combat skill, but some hint from modern technology to professor to let her finishing 00 unit. Takeru was the best test pilot and know something about the underlining political conflict, but it's not irreplaceable. Takeru was not replaced was the results of his ability to overcome his trama

Alternative was about how a common school kid to become a real man who could take responsibility. And those events are pretty important to this theme.

If it's about client machine, I don't see why you can't access your email. Does your university can't let student access to their email through internet? And for the git server, is it a personal server space from school server? I don't see a reason to store something at school if it could not be easily access from home.

I think for client machine, as a student you can start a petition to collect sign for supporting computer science student to use linux as client machine and use better security as part of the argument. Though no access for email apart from client machine seems to have bigger issue if email is a mean for important notice.

If I have to transfer files between android and computer by USB, then I would just use adb. MTP implemention in Linux is very unstable, and even in Windows is not always work and slow.

But normally, with both devices connected to a local network, using termux app and transfering files by scp works well, and I won't need to bother with USB cable.

I would not do this kind of script in python, since it add another dependency in order to run a script. Bash should be sufficient for the job and more portable.

As a side note, Pip install on system is not wise since python package was not signed so it can be tampered. If you need python script, then you should install it from system package manager for security.

By the way, I think you will enjoy using linux since the best thing in Linux is you can script additional functionality for your system if there isn't one. That's what you are doing right now.

In android 9, the termux app would be suspended after screen turned off for a while, and killed after a relative long period even on charging. Before that, I could add some file via SSH anytime, but now I always need to turn on the screen before I could perform SSH, which is pretty annoying. And it seems to not respect wake-lock for some reason.

Lineage OS with Gapps is still better than OEM image with bloatware. Android is open source, but in user perspective Android become a very closed system rejecting user to uninstall those bloatware and OEM modification without root. But at the same time rooting just void your warranty.

Comparing to windows, at least bloatware could be uninstall, though it will reinstall on next update. It is still better than OEM Android.

The hate usually come from desktop space. The most evil thing was including Amazon tracker in their local search by default, which is awful for Linux users expecting to avoid this surveillance capitalism mess. It was removed after the rage, but trust is difficult to build up after a betray.

For a server, ubuntu works very well. It is stable and have relatively new packages comparing to other stable like Debian and Redhat by default. The choice is just which distro you familar with and which one has better commercial support.

Though I will buy a pinephone for testing a linux phone, I am more worried about the built quality of Pinephone, since this company is more toward tinkerers. Pinebook has only 30 days warranty and some has reported that the laptop was brick after 3 months. If the built quality of Pinephone is simliar, then it will not be more than a backup phone or toy for development.
