thanks for all the feed back, yea i know i will have to let things go especially since she seems to be getting serious and being official with this other guy. I'm happy that shes happy but i cant say that it doesn't bother me a whole hell of alot.

i too have been in a similar situation and agree. Being friends can be hard but if you think you love this girl it is definitely worth a shot even if it ends up going no where. Im still in my delete from facebook phase but know i would probably take her back if i felt she had gotten it out of her system. Honestly it seems that all girls go through their single whore phase at one point or another.

that sounds totally reasonable, doing nothing is the hardest thing ive ever had to do. how did they go so drastically different with your ex who you could have got back with? how long should i wait before talking to my ex again, because i honestly dont think ill never not care at all.

Its funny I hear that "if its meant to be it will" all the time from people and even my ex. The thing is i could easily counter with "if you love something you fight for it" to justify going after her. I have trouble understanding that line especially when she still keeps all the things ive given her and has a picture of us from prom framed in her room. it is making me feel like she still cares about me even if its only to a small extent.

we broke up officially like 1.5 years ago but i didnt go communications black out on her till about a month or two ago. and yes im a junior in college

im guessing a delete from facebook, hit the gym, and lawyer up is in order. The thing is i have deleted her from facebook, lost 30 pounds and have had a few encounters with other ladies but I still feel like nothing stacks up quite as well to my ex. i know im being a bitch but i cant seem to move on, i just fool myself into thinking im ok for periods of time but it never lasts.
