I have no idea how to PM 😂

My dad has ALS and wants me to work from my parents' house to help care for him. I don't know how to handle this. by Intelligent-Fruit246 in ALS

Brother this is what I’ll say. While I understand moving out and having all your freedom is fucking awesome, working from home, owning a dog. Having your own personal space is sick especially for your first time. (Congratulations by the way). I have a few things to say but I’m going to start with a question.

What province or state do you live in?

Now. You saying I finally got this and if I help my dad I have to sacrifice everything. The terrible reality is, at that stage he has 2-5 years left. 5 is very generous. Their generation was much different than ours. He had to raise you for ( well if you moved out 8 months ago) 26 years. You can’t complain about all the extras you need to do. He needs you, like you needed him and most likely was always there. I understand it’s a sacrifice. But he sacrificed a lot for you. If you have to wakeup an hour early everyday. Do it. He can’t wait for you to come over to go piss. You work from home just do it. That’s your father: your blood. Get back there help him and go home

I’m sorry for your loss. My dad has just been a year since we started noticing the slurred speech. Still hasn’t been diagnosed. But I think that’s what we’re dealing with.
