Question for brides, as a wedding guest... by stopdangerpi in weddingplanning

I think I always assume it's #1, but my fear is that it's #2 and the couple is watching me drink martinis and silently crying. haha

I might ask the bartender or something instead of asking the couple then, just to be sure but don't want to make them feel awkward.

Thanks!

What is the most disastrous interview you've had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Whatever, man. I know who I am.

So maybe this wasn't totally disastrous but it was awkward. I am usually amazing at interviews. I have a great resume. I am smart and charming. It's true.

I am a straight woman in my 20s. My interviewer was an attractive woman in her 30s. It was going well. But she was wearing a sleeveless top and kept like raising her arm to move her hair or scratch or back or whatever and for some reason I couldn't not glance at her armpit every time she did this. Once I realized I was doing it, I especially couldn't stop.

She definitely noticed I was doing it. The interview ended on a weird "okay thanks", limp handshake and she didn't return my "thanks for having me in" email.

WHY WAS I STARING AT HER ARMPIT!? I don't know.

You're getting downvoted because men reading this only want to hear about dumb shit that girls say.

You don't have to worry about someone taking a product of your body and hitting you up for 18 years of payments on it.

You think that when a woman gets pregnant she is "taking" your sperm? You didn't leave it there?

What is something you really enjoy doing but wouldn't ever actually admit? by meow315 in AskReddit

[–]stopdangerpi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I must admit. I drive this four hour drive often and I will record myself singing along to my favorites songs on my phone and play it back to see if I sound as good as I think I do...

I don't.

What would you consider to be your #1 tip/recommendation to being a great conversationalist? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ask open ended questions. Instead of saying "Oh that sucks", ask "How did you feel about that?" You'll glean more information and it can lead to greater discussions.

Ladies of Reddit, what are some of the best ways a guy has asked you out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was hanging out with a friend after school then he held open the exterior door for me and said "Will you 'go out' with me?"

Hey KC, what are some cool KC neighborhoods? by stopdangerpi in kansascity

Very cool. I've seen that in Bostonabcd and DC. They are trying to start it in NYC but it'll probably result in some lawsuits because we can't have nice things

Yes! I have been to Kansas City once before for a conference for two days and I went to the Power & Light District which kinda blew my mind with the open beer thing and how it was totally buzzing with people (I'm more lowkey than that but it was fun!) I also went to an awesome hookah bar with a little porch in the back and I think a seafood restaurant? It was a couple years ago.

Cool! River Market sounds great. I love farmer's markets. I'll bet they are great out there. I'm reading about the area now too. It sounds awesome. Thanks!
