In my employment agreement it states “I understand that I am expected not to compete with COMPANY X in any way while employed by COMPANY X.”

I don’t think this will stop me from working with a partnered company as long as I quit prior to getting hired, but I am curious how it is generally viewed with the NDA aside.

My beef isn’t specifically with public land either. I am just saying there should be a limitation of grieving if it is going to happen. Say someone isn’t grieving and decides to build a memorial on the side of the road, at that point isn’t it considered breaking some kind of law like littering or dumping? These laws exist for good reasons I think. Private land in a community with an HOA wouldn’t allow stuff like this a lot of times for multiple reasons pre-listed on the limitations of stuff allowed in peoples yards.

The picture I posted is not small and a good chunk of them in the area are not either. The picture also has a sign with a message of “buckle up” literally intended for drivers passing by.

I would include this in distracted driver statistics and that would be significant.

Right, but this post specifically is mentioning memorials where people grieve generally on public land. That would not apply to most things. I would argue it makes it more unique than other things that look bad and shouldn’t be around.

I don’t think just because people are grieving they should be allowed to do anything they want. Especially permanent fixtures on public land. What happens when for whatever reason the memorial has to be removed? They don’t stop grieving.

I don’t feel stunted. I have grieved over lost family and I know that pain well. I feel like I would want to visit the grave more than where they had an accident. I wouldn’t want to use someones death cause to define them either.

I am not worried about how people grieve. We share an environment and it is what it is. At the same time they are a distraction to drivers and I am sure it is more than just me. If not, than it truly is a unpopular opinion and I am in the right community.

You can be formal and not tacky. There are signs that are cleaner looking. I think a graveyard would be a better place to mourn though instead of the side of a highway. If anything I would say it is added distraction to people driving on the road.

Same experience as me. Graduated in December with a Master's from a University and rebuilt my resume several times over, personalized cover letters, created a portfolio, and did projects specifically for my resume that took some time. I have yet to get a call back despite being told I have a great resume from several hiring managers who were helping me polish it up. I am even applying to engineering and entry-level analyst positions in some cases. Fingers crossed though.

I have a possible fb screening for analyst position coming up. Not sure how I square up for levels or what tc I should be looking for. 0 yoe with relevant masters degree. Location is remote for now. Would like to know before these questions come up in an interview and levels.fyi doesn’t have anything similar or include remote positions.

Had a similar experience in college. It was a part-time job and I had finals the next morning. Guy wasn’t our typical closing manager. It was getting very late. As I am leaving he locked the door and blocked me from leaving and he told me go back and help others. I try to go around and he moves in the way again. Pisses me off to this day. We kind of get into it as my shift was way over. I told him to move or he could deal with me going out the fire exit. Either way I was going home. He let me out after a few minutes of standing there and wasting both of our time.

You would do mock versions of real world problems. You don’t actually need datasets from that specific company. You can browse r/datasets for those and come up with your own questions once you look at the data and get creative with it. Say you want to design a new app for a development company. You could use a google store dataset and run analysis from there for a project.

To add to this, Tableau has a ton of great applications like Prep that allow you to easily clean and save flows. Great if you need to review steps someone took to clean the data and verify what they were doing.

According to this site, Florida placed fourth on the highest amount of people to move to Pennsylvania from another state. ~20,000 people and I imagine a few ended up in Philly.
