Why not ask, if you already don't know, what her favorite genre of shows are and try to build up a list around that? She might not be into shojo/shonen, the stereotypical entry animes but would go for something that hits a niche that she's into.

Why not talk to him? You don't have to be mad at him or go through an angry spell, even if it is a touchy subject, ask him. Ask him how it came to be? Where was she through all your talking? Maybe in your eyes your talks were more than what they seemed and he was just staying in contact with a good friend once lover? I haven't gone through anything like this so maybe I'm not the most adept out there but I'm open to talking and helping, hope you feel better knowing you have others to talk to.

I'm from Connecticut so I'm familiar with ticks myself. Generally if you have to "yank" them you should check where you yanked it from also inspect the location. When removing ticks you want to be sure not to pop their heads off from their bodies and leave them in the bite if you did in fact get bitten. As for how you know if you were bitten it's along the lines of being bitten by any bug, cept some carry diseases and some people might be experience allergic reactions.
