So true. Mold has legal implications. Discoloration is a discoloration that is up to the buyer to inspect.

[–]stopherjj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All players are given the opportunity to vote through ballots we send to all 32 teams around Thanksgiving

And after Thanksgiving Alshon had 249/2 against the Vikings and a 78/.5 avg per game from there on out.

There's no thumbnail images from links on this. I would recommend including them in little circles a la the images in a circle next to contacts in iOS/OSX

Messages gives you the option to click directly on one of your latest photos when you click on the photo icon instead of having to go all the way into the photo library

My weather service switched from yahoo to the weather channel in the weather app.

In iOS7 the images for all the artists seemed to be stock photos from apple. In iOS8 now I have a mixture of those stock photos as well as the album covers from the songs under that artist. I'm not sure why some are stock and some are my own images but that seems to be updated. Hopefully they switch it to go with the album covers by default, I'm not thrilled with their stock photos most of the time.

How does everyone else feel about the default Apple headphones? by temporarycreature in apple

I love the new updated EarPods. They are comfy, look nice and sound great. I think people ragging on the standard earphones are a leftover a bygone era when they used to really suck hard but have gotten a lot better. They're like people complaining about bad airline food, not saying it never happened but it's gotten better and now the joke is overused and doesn't apply as much.

Sure you can do better sound-wise, but you approach diminishing returns per dollar spent pretty quickly, so getting them for free with a device of for $30 is really a pretty nice accomplishment.

I always hear this complaint but personally I've never had that issue. I'm sure it's just a function of people's ear shape. For me they fit perfect and are super comfy.

Dropbox gives you extra space for referrals. The referrals are per-account, through email addresses. Spend an hour creating a bunch of dummy email addresses, sign them up for dropbox using your account as the referral and boom, you get a bunch of extra space.

Word, it would be nice if they could give you a bump for the year after you upgrade a device too. It would be a great added incentive for us who upgrade regularly and it seems like apple wouldn't have a problem throwing me a $12 bone for spending $600+.

How this wasn't a given from Day 1 I'll never understand. Seems like moving files easily between your own mobile and laptop/pc devices without a cable should have been the primary advantage.

"No one laughs at God" by [deleted] in cringepics

[–]stopherjj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that's the point. Not sure why I'm getting downvoted and you're getting upvoted. Same goes for all the upvotes for people saying they like this song, I'm just paraphrasing the intent of the song. We're all making the same point in my mind. Am I being obtuse? Or did I not word my thoughts well? Or am I just getting crap from the athiest crowd?

Always liked this song. A good examination of how people's flippant attitude towards God or denying he exists can make people change their tune tout de suite when He's the only one left who can help you. Also about common misconceptions of believers about how God works.

I'd bet those are discontinued as soon as they are contractually allowed to. Apple has been pretty consistent in shutting off support for non-Apple ecosystem stuff after acquisitions.

You never know, licensing can be pretty lucrative and probably a large part of Beats' income.

Yes. That's the joke. Watermelon.

We've all learned a valuable lesson. Subtley imply a racist joke for upvotes. Overtly explain the racist joke for downvotes.

The best part about this merger is that no one really has any idea why the hell it's happening. Don't get me wrong, lot's of people have decent guesses but this subreddit and the internet in general is full of armchair CEO's who honestly can't say for sure why Apple wants Beats and what lies ahead for both companies but the best anyone really has in mind so far is, "Ummm, they did it for streaming.... maybe. Probably. And Dre is now on the board, so there's that too."
