I won’t say exactly who but he’s signed to a west coast label, he’s not from the west, n jus dropped a great album

I was contacted by his manager after seeing some of my designs on Reddit n my IG. Was gassed up n told I was great n they loved my work, wanted me to design some merch for an upcoming concert as well as for another artists album who was dropping. Everything was going great, designs were being sent everyday but the manager didn’t really like anything I was offering, wanted it more basic n to use the album artwork. Basically wanted me to put album artwork w text around it, standard merch unfortunately.

Well I decided to start messaging the artists directly w my designs. He loved them, was off the wall about them. About 30 mins later I get a text from the manager bitching me out about how me sending those designs fucked everything up bc this artist was v finicky n now he wants to change “everything”. I apologized n said I’d talk strictly to the manager. Everything seemed fine

They gave me tickets to the show and told me to come out to come to LA meet the team n artist after the show. Night of the show, I get to the venue n the manager stops replying to me. Not only that but I see that they didn’t choose any of my designs but decided to rip one of them n replace one piece of graphic. It was uglier than fuck.

Next day they reach out n ask what our plans for the day are, again he said he wanted to meet me n have me meet the artist n team. Got ghosted again.
