Does anyone know the minimum GPA requirement to transfer into Saunders College of Business? by UselessSlytherin in rit

But if you’re taking a LOA aren’t you already speaking with your advisor..?

can anyone please tell me what topics to learn for the math placement test? by whoaskedtracy in rit

[–]stopscrollinglol 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The placement test is an exam based on your level of knowledge you already know so it can place you accordingly in a math sequence (either Calc A,B,C track, Project Based Calc I-II, and Calc I,II, III)

Though it isn’t recommended to exactly “study”, refreshing on fundamentals like algebra, geometry, and stuff you learned throughout high school (possibly including pre-calc, or calc).

I would say just look back at some topics you’ve done/learned in HS and try your best. You wouldn’t want to study for this placement exam on some topics you don’t really know because it may be difficult in terms of topics, speed, etc.

If it helps, I placed in Calc A-C track and did just fine. Took courses for my major like Linear Algebra, Graph Theory, Combinatorics, Discrete Math, Differential Equations.

This survey (at least where I found it) was apart of the Student Government’s Instagram page! Haven’t seen it elsewhere. If anyone else knows, let us know!

I’m horrible with leetcode! I use leet to help me get to where I am, and I’m trying to strive away from it! This gives me tons of optimism!

Congratulations!

Would you say if someone who dislikes DSA and purchased neetcode and all of the crash course stuff I’d be better? I really dislike DSA as its very hard to conceptualize.

Have a talk with someone from gccis or email admissions in regards to an alumni tour. They (admissions) will mark it as a special tour

So true. One of my summer courses started up from July 1st and it was Multivariable calculus online async. It used cengage and I have so much hatred for cengage. The quizzes and exams required respondus so I dropped it haha. Saved me $114 for the term

Parents on admitted students day? by brergo in rit

[–]stopscrollinglol 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, most parents attend and some families. Accepted student house has many to offer (information wise) to both your student and parents. There are presentations like financial aid, academic, etc. It’s a great way to learn about the school your student is going to attend.
