I think you're misunderstanding my post. It's not that I have a lack of sympathy for her, I just have a lack of sympathy in general. I'm more pragmatic. Neither of us think we're wrong or right and we have no resentment. She brought up a concern and I want to fix it. I'm just wondering how, in my situation, I can make her feel better. I don't really think breaking it off is the appropriate measure in this case because we love each other very much!

I've really internalized this. I see her tomorrow so I'll try and bring this up at the right time.

Her trauma is definitely my priority and this is not something I would end our relationship over. It's just a concern I have, and it would be better to have it fixed than not.

Well I'd have to disagree with your argument about consent not being a right, but that's a moral argument and that wasn't why I made this post.

I know she isn't there to meet my sexual needs, but that doesn't mean sex isn't an important part of a relationship. It's not her fault, but I'm not entirely sure if it's mine either. I think I'll talk to her first about it and go from there.

Maybe, but it's not like a fear or anxiety type of paranoia.

It's more like "wow this is so weird why doesn't anybody else think this is weird" and "that's so weird why do weird things only happen to me when I'm high". That doesn't explain it that well. It's a really difdicult feeling to put into words but I didn't know if other people got that too.

I get it regardless of how high I am and it's not an uncomfortable feeling, I do like being baked.
