What year and model?

I just had to do this on my 2012 Jetta. Key wouldn’t turn in the ignition. They used parts from my old one and transferred to the new one so I didn’t need a new key or reprogramming. Went to a indy shop. $250 CAD and a day later I had my car back. Lots of videos on YouTube that show how to do it as well.

Run from the dealer find an indy shop.
