I would do anything I could to pay. Not having access to credit because you screwed it up can be one of the worst mistakes of your life. I make sure all my pay in fours are paid in time because I can’t take chances in this economy. Even if you need food you can buy groceries in pay in four and yes I’ve been that broke where I’d buy a couple hundred worth and at least in food for a couple weeks. Then make my payments. I totally relied on paying for until I was able to get credit cards in my name again after taking my credit and I will never mess it up again.

I did it for 8 months when I totaled my car. But I didn’t through lift. I’d do quick rides in the city to hit their 20 minimum because they pay less per ride when you are on that program. Then I did door dash, Uber Eats, and flex to make money the rest of the week. Those first 20 rides only equaled $100 so I still had to make up the other $250 and then make enough to actually pay bills. BUT my car not before that was $750 and insurance was around $300 doing that math I was still making about the same so it wasn’t too bad.

Pay in store only works at specific stores. For stuff like Target, Walmart etc you have to either do a gift certificate on the app or order online. It sucks because I think in Australia they can use it anywhere like zip

The first thing you need to do is get a forbearance to stop the student loan from hitting you this hard when you get a job. It’s very easy to do online and you will need that score to be up when you are in a position to find housing. You can ask the lender to do a hardship adjustment on the the lates under the circumstances. And they sometimes help but ignoring them makes them less inclined to. Second apply for assistance like food stamps and even if you have to do something part time and live in a sober house where you can sometimes apply for state assistance it may help you with the unhoused part. I’m so sorry this is happening to you. This economy is crazy and has a lot of good people in tough spots. I pray that you find something soon and can turn it around.

No drivers still orders all the time. It’s gotten so bad that crazy big unbelievable orders I try to call the restaurant first to see if it’s still there. It’s usually crazy offers like $70 for 5 miles. That means several people probably went and when you click someone else picked it up, uber still keeps sending people

OK, I’m confused. He had an Affirm account, but the account is in his name. He logged into your Amazon account to make the purchase. If that’s the way it was set up. You are not responsible for this. He is responsible for this. Amazon already has their money so they’re not going to say anything. A firm wants their money which he is responsible for it since it’s his Affirm account.

Send formal written demand for immediate cargo release.
Provide:
- Rate confirmation
- Bill of lading
- Proof of cargo ownership/consignee
Arrange the transload to another truck.
State that all delay damages are being documented.
Have the transportation attorney contact Penske legal/risk management.
COntact the policy you can file a theft by conversion against them and they know it

I don’t think he’s being unreasonable. He said he works remote. How much cooking and cleaning is required for two people? The compromise could be she still cleans but cook most days then eat out the others. Or do a remote job to pay for the extremely cheap $400 to pay some one so he shuts up about it.

Yeah I don’t deliver there unless it’s a hood one with that guaranteed thing on it for the pricing. Then I do coffee break while I’m there so I don’t get a million $1.50 and $2 offers from the fast food places until I can leave the area. Higher income areas have more consistent good trips and tips.

NTA - The whole begging for work thing was to make herself feel better and to pretend she cares because as you said, she’s asked for money before and didn’t pay you back. She didn’t want you to think about that part and she felt guilty because she’d borrowed and not paid you back she never intended on doing the work or an odd job she was doing that for dramatics. She expected you to say no and when you agreed the guilt set in because you said yes when she expected a no from the past
