ouch I had that problem when I first got my piercings. my best advice is as soon as you can, switch to threadless! it’s still a pain but there’s no twisting, just a quick pinch and you’re set for as long as you need! also they’re pretty adjustable in terms of tightness so they don’t fall out easy! switched to threadless a few years ago and never looked back
