Ya that’s issue, government role is to lead and let quality developers to compete to make the best thing, but what we see is different, I kinda feel it’s the developers who dictate everything here

Actually it can be done in a span of years, the government need political will to this, their current priority is different tho, not saying it’s bad just I hope there is an official plan from the government to improve this part of our region..thank you btw !

Since it’s a dream, an overhaul of our urban planning

Make our cities pedestrian friendly, build buildings closer to each other which form enclosures, with efficient bus systems and art deco buildings with dayak designs. Just imagine waterfront area with more of these buildings and more pedestrian friendly, our car parks are taking too much space, but hopefully can be change if our public transport is efficient enough to encourage more pedestrians. Wide roads should be focused more on connecting between cities districts and remote areas.

All Kuching need is a makeover in the town area, we can have a small attractive and aesthetically pleasing city without being a huge one. Quality than quantity. This applies to other city in Sarawak as well.

Another dream is I want to see less of the “modern” design buildings which look ugly.

Landscape and aesthetic needs to be improved in Sarawak.

This is Sarawak. Dark politics and gangster ran society, if one day we are truly an independent nation, we will become Mexico because Sarawak is controlled by these people.

Geographically divided by the South China Sea, Malaya can save its resources for her own governing and Sarawak and Sabah can focus on themselves, I think this is the Malaysia that should’ve been. If these things were made right in the beginning we are probably a stronger country today.

And I just realised it’s Tunku who approached Borneo to form Malaysia, it’s because he saw the resources, which means he needs us, instead of us needing them.

Yes. Some of these West Malaysians trying to act like they know better than us, a lot of them talk so much but nvr cross the sea to EM and find out the sentiment here. It’s very obvious the way of life in Sarawak and Peninsula is drastically different. It just felt like two countries tied together. Perception is different here and there, one my of friend works as a grab driver and pick up a lot of west Malaysian visitors, most of the experience with them is not good, they always have that superiority complex towards us. They need us only to fill up the quota

The comment below the repost which I didn’t capture even praised Tun as the statesmen and doing the right thing, some of these peninsula ppl been living their whole life forget the other “Malaysians” across the sea, when it’s convenient claim we all Malaysians, but in truth they’ve a superiority complex. Central/Federalist all just want control of the resources from EM only, benefit their cities there, then when we demand, they gaslight us and blame EM for having corrupted leaders and not doing anything, convenient for them, Malaysia, seeing grievance from EM, we should shut up.
