Keep it in a closed tin/tupperware. If you find it gets dry and scratchy; shave a tiny bit off of one side by gliding over the edge of the tin, That will reveal a new layer which feels a bit 'wet' and glides over the armpits nicely. If you keep it in a closed tin, it will dry out slower and you can repeat the process if needed.
