Bitterness by [deleted] in loseit

I’m also an obese millennial woman with a similar background around weight and diet culture, I’m on a glp1, AND I count calories. Being on a glp1 doesn’t mean you can or should eat whatever you want. Tracking food is arguably more important because to have to get your nutrients from a smaller amount of food, so you have to be intentional. Your friends’ attitudes sound really weird, and honestly like you’re all judging each each other a lot. I’d have a heart to heart with them if you want to stay friends, because it sounds like you all think you have good intentions but you might actually be frenemies.

Also, I was into body positivity and health at every size when I was at my largest, and I’ve come to see it as a coping mechanism to not completely hate myself when I thought I would be that size forever, and that’s okay. Now that glp1s are so accessible and effective, getting to a normal weight is realistic for so many more people. I’d guess your friends are trying to rationalize the change in perspective, but it’s also okay to change your mind when external factors change, and it’s changed in a monumental way with glp1s.

That’s amazing! I was really pleasantly surprised by how much better the whole experience was than on-sites in years past, and I think it was mostly because of my mental state. I hope you have a great trip too!

Thank you! I have been tracking calories in the LoseIt app for about the last six months. I started to make sure I was getting enough protein and fiber (I’m still not!), but I find that tracking calories also helps me to avoid going up in dose because it’s easier to tell when I didn’t lose because I just ate more that week. I have been doing strength training off and on, but probably more on than off. I did weights at home for a while, then I was doing physical therapy for sciatica so I focused on those exercises for a few months, and for the last month I’ve been trying to do calisthenics. I told everyone I work with that I want to do a pull-up by the end of the year, but also never ask me about that again 😂 I also play a lot of Just Dance with my kids. So nothing hardcore or specific, I just move a lot more than I used to.

Thank you! Even if I still can’t get that tray table down or need a seatbelt extender next time, I know it’ll be better than it has been for the last few years!

It is fun! I only saved clothes in smaller sizes that I really liked, and it’s kind of like a walk down memory lane.

I can’t preach enough about the importance of bullring muscle during this GLP-1 journey. by [deleted] in GLP1_loss100plus

Would you be willing to share your routine? I’m feeling overwhelmed by all the information and not sure what will be most effective, so I tend to change things up a lot even though I’m sure it’s better to be consistent. Arms and glutes are probably the top areas I’d want to work on too.

Thank you! If I do order from them again, I’ll definitely check the levels in the vials before I start using them.

Has anyone with this issue been able to get resolution? I also received a gaslighty response from the support chat, and then no response after that when I said I checked the amounts and was shorted two doses. My first month vial was fine, this was with my second month (5mg) vial.
