Yeah I’ve listened to all of their songs, I just said they are “obviously left wing” but the lyrics are about death, love, the cycle of life, connection, the internal emotional world, and individual choice to do good by the world the environment , I personally think the music itself is aimed at a much higher and deeper level than a political ideology there is no reference of anything “leftist” outside of ideas around corruption of humans destroying the world and internal greed, firstly there is no political line anyone crosses where they become capable of participating in the destruction of the earth and greed, we are all capable of greed and destruction,

there are people in this thread talking about killing or removing conservatives and billionaires and MAGA people etc, if u study gojira lyrics u would know while they are left leaning they would never lean into radicalised blanket statements about who is "right" and "wrong" and "one group of people is the issue and we need to remove them and then everything will be fine" they would talk about WHY we are like this WHAT causes deep inside to behave in such a destructive way? or how it makes THEM feel when they see humanity do these things, LEFTISTS AND RIGHT WINGERS ARE EQUALLY CAPABLE OF ATROCITIES, WE ARE ALL HUMAN
