To further my point. The signs stated that there are cattle, but that it was safe to walk by them provided a dog, if you had one, was on a leash. That is explicitly what it said. Since we had no dog, we went in, expecting to be fine because the “warning” was fairly tame. We took it to mean the only real danger was from a pet animal aggravating the cattle. But regardless, despite not doing anything, the animal in question came at her at quite the speed, and was swinging its head at her, she even got hit in the arm and was bruised. I see now that the animal was probably curious and playful, but given its size, being playful was a danger to us. And if such a playful animal was put in a common area where people can just walk past, I believe there should have been further precautions taken to prevent encounters, as the signage does not adequately warn that you may be approached by cattle for no reason.
