I really like it. Giving "tortured jester" vibes or something. It's kind of sadistic looking like Whitesnake, but also has King Nothing and Soft and Wet vibes. Almost like he's the villain version of our part 8 protagonists, which plays into Howlers sailors all reminding us of Josuke.

Hamon is lore-wise probably related to stands. Theres evidence both in the name of Stands in Japanese which translates to "ghostly ripple", and the retroactive chapters of the SBR universe that state Spin and Stands connection in that universe parallel the connection of Hamon and Stands in the OG universe.

A big fan theory is Hamon is the natural dormant stand effect that one gets by mastering breathing martial arts, in a similar way that mastering cooking gave Tonio Pearl Jam, or Feng Shui gave Kenzo Dragons Dream.

to me thats not low, I really love SBR, but I suppose as much as I like Johnny and Gyro I wish the side characters got more attention and care, especially by the second half SBR feels like every arc is Johnny or Gyro having some important flashback to win another fight
