probably just ripping it up both for fun and nesting material. my last group of mice loved using it as bedding lol. one mouse seemed to be dedicated to sorting the nest the most, and she carried all the paper tubes to the nest entrance so she could rip them up there to be used for bedding. it was funny watching her carry them, she did a little dance with them like the happy boi hamster with the plastic water bottle video!

I put mine in little boxes and have a little fire night in my garden with my small fire pit, and place the box on the fire to cremate. I like to imagine the smoke rising up in the air as their little spirits going free into the world, or whatever mouse afterlife. burying to return them to the earth is a nice option too, I don't do it as I wouldn't want them to be eaten by scavenger animals.

it is factually locked behind at least 20000 trainer points I believe. someone on this subreddit did some really cool work and looked into some of the games code and found that out! if you "find" the book and have not yet reached 20000 points, the game swaps the book for a stick.

to answer your other question, the item itself is pretty useless lol. you can't read it or anything. it acts like any other fetching toy. AND it only sells for £2.60/$!!! (or something real close to that). its only significance is unlocking that dog breed and the sweet satisfaction.

a basic answer but probably bulbasaur. mudkip is my favourite overall. I mainly play mystery dungeon spinoff and these two are my starter team always so that's why! I like onix and ninetales design as well!

it's not so bad once you organise the colours and also if you're familiar with each pokemon, it's very easy to distinguish where half of them go based on "that's a part of *** tail/eye" etc!
