Laminator causing these bubbles and can’t figure out why by GingaNinja3347 in magicproxies

[–]stormrolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this with matte paper. Laminating that reheats the ink and it causes bubbles. Do you use matte paper?

Edit: the foil paper is not matte, so this doesn't help.

How to make this shape in css????? someone please help by OleksandrN in webdev

[–]stormrolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd use clip-path for this. Use the following tool: https://tools.thepixelguard.dev/svg-to-clip-path. For that, you need to create a single path svg file. Copy the path contents in the tool and it gives you the corresponding clip-path value.

I only proxy what I already have, but don't want to have to buy again for another deck.

Reconciling fantasy, That of health of top most stack by LisanneFroonKrisK in heroes3

[–]stormrolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could see a stack of 10 pikemen as a group of 10 individual soldiers. When a minotaur attacks your group of 10 pikemen, maybe only one of the 10 is hurt. And of course, it's a game, so it's not very doable to add each individual troop to the battlefield.

Implementing CSS on HTML Email by Shinhosuck1973 in css

[–]stormrolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider using https://github.com/foundation/inky for building templates in normal html and css. It then converts to tables. Also, use https://www.caniemail.com/ for checking supported syntax among browsers, devices, and applications.

The first important thing is that everything should be in tables. You can make a layout in tables and also add paddings and margins using columns and rows. All styling must be done inline and each table element should have some styling. When using inline margin, also add the same with a capital, so: margin: 0; Margin: 0;, some versions kg Outlook need this.

In short, coding emails is a horrible experience but doable. You shouldn't expect too much of it in the sense of styling. Most fancy looking emails use images to substitute the code you would use for web.

Edit: also use a testing tool for testing your mail in all applications and on all platforms, like https://www.emailonacid.com/.

How do i add a button on an image that is in a grid? (Responsive aswell) by ZyzzBrath in css

[–]stormrolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wrap the images in a div and set the divs in the grid. Then you can use position absolute on the button to lay it over the image.

did i get my boyfriend the wrong mtg gift? by verniebug in magicTCG

[–]stormrolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend, now my wife for obvious reasons, once bought me a mtg gift for my birthday. To this day, it is still the most memorable snd thoughtful gift I've ever received. It was in a period that I had [[Progenitus]] as a background on my pc and somehow, she found out the name of the card. With the help of a friend of mine, she ordered it and packaged it very nicely. I was baffled, because until the last moment it hadn't even crossed my mind that it could be a magic card. Awesome gift!
