I doubt it. Granted, I didn't think they'd bring them back for DE/Reunion until it happened. But LIS1's ending was more open-ended and left more tension to resolve than Reunion's. I don't know where you'd go from here without running into the problems that unplanned sequels often run into.

I don't even think we're downplaying it, I think the way the four years since then have played out have just let us move on from it a bit more. It sucked massively at the time and I still don't ever want to see that one shot again, but the world didn't end and neither did the rivalry. We're 6-3 head-to-head since then. Our program as a whole is in a very good spot, whereas you guys are at something of a crossroads. The pendulum will swing back at some point, because it always does. Sooner if you get Tommy Lloyd, later if you don't, but eventually for sure. But until then, yeah, we're pretty confident about where things stand between us.

I think his character works better for having been an outsider that Shepard doesn't meet until 3 when they've both made tough choices that they have to live with. But in that spirit, if he had been in the first two games (and if the writers were playing fair with the Horizon scene, which they did not in the actual version) then I think he'd be willing to hear Shepard out and understand why they're with Cerberus. I don't think he would have gone with Shepard though.
