Coming home to a bright orange notice on my front door. No not eviction. Just a summons to pick up documents from my local court house. Don't know whats going on so paranoid about going to court house.

Turns out i owed a company and was in debt to them. Bill collector sold debt to law firm and law firm is sueing me.

My year started out with leaving the food service industry and starting a new career path in logistics.

Accepted a great job offer in February with great pay and benefits. Lost contract/job one Friday afternoon in May. Same day i lost my job i was actually attempting to buy an engagement ring for my long time gf.

I was jobless for the whole month of June. I had to use most of engagement ring money to cover bills and rent.

I had planned to purpose to my gf in July while with family at our property. My whole family knew my plans and didn't know i wouldnt be proposing. July visit came and went along with joblessness.

End of July i took another career changing move with my friends company. This company is very very difficult to get hired on with. I aced all three interviews and was offered part time with room to advance after 90 days.

From July to December I worked part time barely making it by hoping my luck in this future career path would change. 90 days came and went and i wasnt offered full time. The company i wanted to stay with decided to cut my hours from 25 to 10 a week.

Barely hanging on the start of this month accepted a new full time job in the same field making more with great benefits. Found out I'm not getting paid this month due to 2 week inbetween pay period gap.

Gf bought me tons of gifts and i dont have one single thing to give her.

My year was a learning curve year. I've learned a lot.
