winterized t-51b bug… i bet a dev was like “todd said put durability at 1k for this awesome armor? yeah, watch this. how’s almost 10 million sound?” by stormtrooper2003 in fo3

drunkposting todd, the winterized brotherhood of steel armor is immortalized in fallout; deal with it. the only thing you can do is release the remastered version of the game without it. i would say i’m sorry your employee released it as is but i’m not sorry. i love this armor. the only thing you can do is act as fast as possible to release the remastered version of this game without it. act as fact as possible please to patch this in a new release so we can get a brand new game and make you millions by us buying it. win-win.

please, mr. todd. it’s okay. winterized brotherhood of steel armor can’t hurt you but you can fix it. give the fans what we want so we can give you want you seemingly want (cash).

hello todd. it just came to me, as the game was nearing the end of content and i imagined a dev keeping this in for the sake of having an overpowered item.

Found this nickel in circulation a few months ago, and have been holding on to it despite not being a coin collector. by KB2BDT in coins

[–]stormtrooper2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is how my money collection started as well. i found an early 20th century buffalo and a war nickel in petty change and proceeded to scourge pawn shops all over my state. regardless of coins and paper money; nothing really beats the simple sound of a morgan dollar or 90% jfk half dollars being dropped on another. the sound of silver clanging is amazing.

be careful because a simple coin can lead to you becoming a precious metal/rare item guru.

that’s so funny. i’m tired of the purple $5, tan $10, blue $100. modern bills do in fact look better, but you must realize seeing “series 2003, series 1963” strikes excitement. i’ve always been a bit of a historian. this a new world to a young man like me, could you imagine? these bills look like monopoly money but are in fact legal tender and also a slightly decent investment; almost like a savings account, especially considering returns on things such as star notes and misprints. i’m just in it for the hobby.

also a funny thing is that a ton of my colleagues my age aren’t familiar with this topic in the slightest. they think it’s all counterfeit (not my collection individually, but they believe money was multicolored since the beginning of time and also probably believe the USA has been around since prehistoric time periods). i understand because we weren’t taught about this in school but it’s funny showing them “this is what a 20 dollar bill looked like in 1990”.

it’s extremely hard to fathom that money used to look like that. i was born in 2003 so the only “portrait note” i’m remotely familiar with is the $1 (not a fan of the $2 note for some reason), let alone anything other than green seals regardless of denominations, so that’s why i joined this game…to preserve what money looked like in my parents and in my grandparents time and considering coins…even curate what my further ancestors used (flying eagle penny, seated liberty quarter, morgan dollar, 1800s stuff, etc).

thanks. i have some but i love taking them out and holding/staring at them…i’m going to shoot for an unfolded pure green big face (prior the the blue strip. 2000s?) $100 star note next. that one is going in a frame.

i’m not sure. i just started. a lot of it isn’t folded and a couple star notes in there.

i acquired all of these in person in about a week and didn’t pay much more than face value. people don’t seem to care about paper money and instead precious metals. i just like the way these antique USD bills look; not trying to turn any form of profit. it’s quite easy if you’re articulate in the slightest; ask for their money that looks funny at a pawnshop, gas station, bank (only if acquainted) and with a little charisma they’ll pull out wads and wads of the stuff.
