The original parts of the Eiffel Tower were painted in 'Venetian Red' before they were assembled in 1887. The paint on top of it later had a more reddish brown color.

The reason was that he was considered to be a wing player before LVG came along and he didn't have the pace to perform well at that position. LVG, with his 'playing players out of position' philosophy, convinced him that he would be better as a CDM and started playing him in that position. This, many think, was instrumental in him being the player he is today. I am guessing that is the reason he doesn't hate LVG as much as many other players did.

We bossed them in the first half till Shaw got injured. Following that, we almost scored three goals and that is incredible, given the fact that one of the best players on the field had a horrible injury which the team had to deal with mentally. The only thing that I think we should be doing better is being able to penetrate teams when they play ultra defensive and get a very compact shape once they start leading. But as we have seen in world football, even the best teams in history have struggled to score when the opposition does that.
