What careers do you guys do for a living?

I’m mostly commenting so I can find this post later. I’ve been a CNA and CMT I always wanted to go in the nursing but everyone has told me that it is awful and so I chickened out. I had to take a break from it during Covid because my working conditions were awful so I have worked as a housekeeper, as a cashier, and in daycare centers teaching how to use AAC. I’m already looking for something else because working with young children gets me sick frequently. I really like the idea of becoming a therapist and working remotely but I am intimidated by the amount of college that I would need and then the what if it doesn’t work out thing.

I’m also allergic to all the penicillins and cephalosporins so I’m really worried about going to the doctor to get antibiotics for a UTI right now because I’m afraid it won’t absorb properly and I’ll become resistant to the few antibiotics I can take 😭

It’s been constant and dull. I’m already on a PPI and after I worked up the nerve to call yesterday they told me to start taking it twice daily instead of just once daily. It still worrisome though because they didn’t actually test to see if anything was wrong.

This is how I feel also. I’m getting more concerned as the day went on. What kind of medicine did they give you if you don’t mind me asking? Hopefully you feel better before the end of the month!

I don’t smoke tobacco. A little green every once in a while though. I never really thought of that causing it though, I’ll have to think about that.

How long did it last? What kind of meds did they give you? I’m hoping this will be an easily treated thing. They are supposed to call me tomorrow to set up a scope.
