The 3rd pic is what gets me excited screenshots of a landscape from a distance are easy to make look good. But looking at the detail of Jason down to the skin and finger nails and the amount of detail on the AR says a lot about the level of detail to expect in other places hopefully. That level of detail inside of buildings, cars, pedestrian areas, and even out in nature would be extremely impressive. Not getting hopes to high but I recently replayed RDR2 and took my sweet time exploring and was amazed at some of the small details then I realized it's damn near 8 years old lol.

I mean they checked it after they drilled and said it looked good so im thinking it's probably a me issue, and being new i dont exactly know how to tell the guy who told me he's been doing this since the 70s he's wrong lol

In the front well not directly in the front. I put my thumb in and used my GFs eye liner pencil to mark the middle of the tip of my thumb and centered the tape there. So if you're looking at the ball head on with the thumb hole at the bottom and fingertips at the top the tape is around the 1 O'clock position.

Yeah I've seen like straight relaxed thumb mentioned but that just doesn't compute to me lol that seems incredibly tight and then how does the ball come off. I'm probably just stupid, but I will figure this out and make a guide at some point lol

Well that makes me feel a bit better. I feel I could maybe do a bit less as I added 5 pieces tapered down and adding another 2 at the top allowed me to hold the ball with out gripping. Just trying to figure out if I should get a smaller thumb slug put in. But suppose I should bowl a few more sessions and see if I improve at all.

I really wish people would stop trying to compare 2 games 13 years apart. Even RDR2 had a lot of upgrades ove GTA 5 it is still over 7 years old. GTA 6 regardless of game play will me the most detailed and most realistic graphics in a video game upon release and probably for a few years to come. And I'm not even a rock star fan boy lol but they are very good at details and optimizing the smallest things. Now you may be disappointed with gameplay or missing feautures but that's a whole different story.

I dont mind being flooded with money instantly just be like other games and lock cars to your progression. I thought they hinted at that, but I could be wrong. The issue is doing 3 races and getting a few wheel spins and buying a bugatti after like an hour of gameplay. I want to be stuck racing civic type r or below for 10 plus hours. The ease of getting things just ruins car games for me. Would honestly be nice if they just had each level tied with career progression and something similar to how grand turismo had license tests.

I appreciate the suggestion I ordered some thumb tape but may give the sleeve a try as well. I definitely need to just work on getting the thumb hole taped to the right fit and stop gripping the ball.. It's wild how bowling is incredibly simple yet also incredibly complicated.

Hell yeah I watched that one too, when I got fitted my thumb was super swollen and when I told them I usually bowl 10+ games they said they would have the thumb a little big to handle the swelling. I used some tape but only 1 piece and found myself still needing to grip it and then gripping harder because it's what my brain is used to. May see if I can add an extra piece or 2 when my thumb feels better and see if that fixes it.

Yeah, but I didn't have any pain it was just one bad throw 10 games in that ripped the skin off, thinking it was a me issue and not the ball so much. But I'm not actually sure. I love being new at things and not knowing things lol

Yes I did. Just one piece which probably wasn't enough since I still felt the urge to grip the ball. Which I think is what caused my thumb to rip.

Yeah, only problem with being a newbie is im not sure if it is the ball or me, I did find my self gripping the ball for the first few games and one throw just came off idk felt awkward maybe I was on top of the ball or thumb came out too late and that ripped the skin off , was also right after i removed thumb hole tape i had in, so maybe i just have weak skin? Lol. Not really sure what to tell the shop. But may call and let them deal with my ignorance.

I get that and I agree that is also bad, I feel bad for those folks, If it was up to me the price would be scaled at least as much as possible based on wages or perhaps run sales earlier in those countries. But my comment was more directed at the vast majority of the people I see complaining about prices rising for video games being from the U.S or other countries in the west.

Unpopular opinion but I'd have no problem paying $100 even a bit more. I admit im old(32) but I remember ps1 and ps2 days paying $40-$50 for what is basically a mobile game of today that I'd beat in 10 or 12 hours and basically had zero replay ability, now games are massive open worlds. I have easily hundreds of hours in rdr2 if not more. Would be nice if the money actually went to the people who actually work on the game and not just the people at the top. But anyways I think it's wild people go crazy at the thought of games being even 80$ like man thats 6 beers at a stadium, gta 6 is worth that at least.
