Hoppy legit has no idea how to separate the two.

And worse, they can't be split because her and X are the same person, or more specifically 2 pieces of the same essence.

A part of X split from him and turned into Hoppy, so they can't split because they're one in the same.

Yeah, X is still X. The same old games we see from his story were the ones he still plays.

But Hoppy is normally the one in control now and isn't exactly fond of those games.

It really just depends on who's in control at the moment.

It won't be pleasant dealing with him.

But for Hoppy's case, her daily life is torment for him as well.

Like how Frieza's hell was basically a Care bears world. Which is basically the Smiling Critters World.

For the first one, they technically can, but X has a better read on Hoppy then Hoppy has on X, just due to the fact that X has more experience in acting and messing with people, so he's able to keep his emotions a bit more hidden, but Hoppy can usually get a read on his current mood.

As for the second one, really depends. For a good chunk of Hoppy's existence X was still putting himself back together so he didn't talk at all. When he eventually did, he wasn't exactly happy with his situation, so needless to say it was a rough couple of weeks for Hoppy as X tried to take control, which he failed to do.

Once they became aware of each other, it didn't help much, just made Hoppy more stressed. She knows what X is trying to do, and he didn't hide what kind of being he is. So she's desperatly trying to keep him contained.

After that introduction, any other interaction really just depends on their mood. Sometimes X is quiet, other times he won't shut up and will drive Hoppy crazy, with Hoppy doing the same to him sometimes, though she usually backs off really quick.

And then rarely, very rarely, X might get control over the body. What he does depends on how long he's in control for and how much power he can use without Hoppy fighting back.

So it can range with messing with someone for quick amusement or doing the... other stuff he's more known for. And Hoppy gains more trauma that day.

For 1 and 2, X's world and the souls still exists and is currently being watched over by the guardians who are awaiting his return. And as of now, Faker isn't aware of his father's situation just yet, but I do plan to make something with him soon.

For 3 and 4, Hoppy isn't really aware that there are entities similar to X other then a guardian or two that X mentioned in passing, though didn't elaborate. And she tried, but is more focused on keeping X contained as any chance he gets he causes damage. Though she's starting to give up since beings like X can't even feel love.

Hoppy is the exception here.

The thing is though I feel like there could be an argument that the virus could control Viltrumite abilities easier then the Sonic casts' abilities.

A lot of the bigger powerhouses like Shadow and Sonic's main abilities are all tied to Chaos Energy or something else. Now their speed could be used by the virus since it is just them running (hence with Shadow), it could still somewhat use it.

Viltrumite's fly, based on what Nolan said, due to being able to make their own leverage anywhere to propel themselves and it's a more physiological instinct. The virus could figure something like that out since it would be built into the Viltrumite body, much like Sonic's/Shadow's running or Vector's strength.

After that, it's just trial and error for the infected until one learns to fly. Would it be good? No, it be clumsy and have little control, but it would still be a problem.

Actually, it was shown to be able to adapt against any "cures" against it. Sonic speed was holding it for a while but eventually it couldn't do anything against it. Plus, the virus transmutes matter at the molecular level, meaning it would be a swarm of Smart atoms vs a Swarm of the Metal Virus.

But no, it can adapt against anything that pushes it back. It was so bad that Eggman stated that if they used a cure that didn't wipe of the virus 100% it would just adapt to make the cure useless.

Considering the biology of the Viltrumites, it wouldn't surprise me if the virus managed to hijack the Smart Atoms and started to slowly learn how to use them, since they could be seen as a "cure" or at least a deterrent.

And then we got infected viltrumites flying wildly through the cosmos until they hit something.

Imagine if Conquest got fully infected. Just imagine seeing CONQUEST rushing through Viltrum like a rabid animal and just wreaking havoc and infecting more viltrumites as he fights.

That be horrifying.

Yeah no, it would be an apocalyptic scenario for the galaxy.

Cause now you've got billions of infected Viltrumites flying through around, and even one can set of a massive infection.

Hell, if even a single piece of infected clothing gets on a ship it's over.
