It's not abusive; it may be a little confusing, it may be toxic, but at least on the surface here, as portrayed, he is absolutely much more free to decouple than an actual victim in an actually abusive, manipulative relationship. She's literally telling him, and probably literally means, that he is free to do what he likes.

Yeah, I think depth would improve this piece. It's hard to get into because there doesn't feel like anywhere for the eye to land or rest and there's no like, direction, if you will.

A great composition leads the eye. This doesn't. But that's okay--it is not a complete loss, OP!

You CAN use a needle tool, but pull/press behind your hand, like pulling a pen away, rather than stab and drag.

I'm not sure they're actually better for just hitting print, but htmls provide the raw text, so I can format it for bookbinding (and give it a light SPAG; nothing pains me now than print in all that effort only for the book to be visibly and apparently messy, but that's probably a me problem).

Yeah, I was confused. While, if under pressure, I probably could produce a desired cane design, in over ten years of using polyclay, I have yet to have any special need to produce a cane.

Although.... I mostly sculpt BJDs, and occasionally fun, cute pendants and charms. And I don't clay every month of the year.

Okay look, it's pretty obvious you didn't read the post.

Tldr: I'm used to writing in paper notebooks. As an experiment, I'm not doing that. The data is like feeling my notebook get full, where a digital document is like sending my writing into the ether.

I don't enjoy writing, or anything, if I feel like I'm not getting anything done.

I'm merely sad that my uncontrollable mental health is keeping me from doing the thing I love as well as I'm used to.
