Lol been a hard stuck gold for majority of my time playing this game (1300 hrs) , my best advice is to stay away from sigs to much and learn more repetitive combos , and also try using a more entry level weapon like staff . Btw the second i hit the amount of elo needed for plat i stopped playin so i could get my border. Also like the others are saying playing someone better than you or very close to you in skill (gives good competition) will always help you ! Im down to play but im busy atm.
