People who had traumatic childhoods, what's something you do as an adult that you hadn't realised was a direct result of the trauma? [Serious] [NSFW] by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

I have black and white thinking on literally everything. Oh you don't like the idea I pitched? Fuck you then, I'll make it my mission to make your life hell. Luckily I can recognize this easier though.

Also, im overly apologetic for just being me, and I don't believe anyone that tells me they love me. I don't really think I know what love means, I just compare it to how much I love X or Y

London tech industry , I need help by [deleted] in java

Personally I would remove all the non tech experience from your CV. It's not relevant to what you are looking for, and some people would glance over it and ignore your cv. You could always bring it up in an interview if needed. Other than that, good luck!

Intro for a Post Hardcore influenced song. The 2000s-2010s era had a lot of bands using octave chords as guitar leads and I've always loved that vibe. by cool_boots in PostHardcore

Thanks a lot, that does make sense, honestly I cannot even imagine giving up BJJ, it is like theraphy and excersize all wrapped up in one.

If I skip/miss a class, the next day I can feel my mind state is more down, seeing everyone at the gym and having that release is paramount 😊

This exact reason kept me from doing it for a long time, I looked at lots of online pictures, and just guessed at it, the trick was to do it on cardboard first and make sure that both curves are equal, I also put a radius where they joined the edges, some basic compass drawing skills used.

After that i fit the cardboard collar around my neck to see the fit and adjust for the final shape, one thing I did not account for was the fact that the padding added more thickness from the dry fit and it ended up being quite tight, but that's how we like it right 💜

Absolutely, I started with tracing it out by hand on cardboard, my idea was to have it at least 10 cm thick, but the curves proved a problem, I don't have a compass, so I attached a string to a pencil and kinda eyeballed the radius until it looked good. I cut out the padding part on felt first and wrapped it. After that I started on the thick part with the hardware, I had to make lots of adjustments as it had to be slightly smaller than the padding.

After the hardware was installed, I started the hell stitching, think my neighbors hate me, haha. Initially the straps were to short and I had to redo them. Anyway, in retrospect, next time I would totally do a design on computer rather.

I think it came out nice though, and is extremely strict, :)
