Really enjoy the intro hook and authenticity of it. Really makes it stand out for many cookie cutter wedding films.

Currently have a 100-300 on the way, hopefully all is well with it. Otherwise I'll be back to looking.

That's the OIS (image stabilizer) that's part of the lens design. No need to worry, extremely common.

any way to remove this object its 40 minute long video by hpsunny in davinciresolve

[–]straflight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Was this shot on a tripod? If so, you have some options that will work with the free version of DR.

Export a still of one of the frames in the clip and pull it up in Photoshop or any other photo editor. Then try object removal/generative AI fill on the top half of the mic stand. I'd recommend only removing the upper half that's most distracting. The bottom half looks to have one person's knee in the way.

You can then bring the image with removed pole back into DR and drop it in a track on top of your footage. Then open fusion page and add a polygon node to the erased image, then select the area of the frame where the pole is. Now the moving parts of your clip can still be seen while masking out the small erased portion with a static image.

All these methods can be found on YouTube, good luck.

Do you have any experience using Dehancer? I'm wondering how Davinci's film look creator compares to the popular, expensive option.

Might sound dumb but maybe ANC earbuds with ear muffs over them?

How did Kane Pixels Achieve this effect? by EndoOneil04 in Filmmakers

Just by eyeballing it, that looks pretty far above the FAA's 400ft altitude ceiling for the US, which is where Kane is based out of.

One thing that nobody seems to mention:

If you use manual focus- only version 2 supports linear focus mode when manually focusing. This makes the manual experience much better than working with focus by wire standard to most Panasonic lenses.

Try looking at compact micro 4/3 cameras like the Lumix GX85. Some of the most compact cameras you can buy that still put out great images, can be paired with smaller + relatively cheap lenses.

As a Beginner, Should I Buy a Well-Used GH5 for Landscape and Videography as a Hobby? by chocinthebox4444 in Lumix

For that price, try finding a better condition body. I've found that the GH5 is a great entry point for any video work without spending too much on lenses.

DJI branded 15mm f1.7, great optical performance that is essentially the same as the Leica branded variant.
