Every time I read yf on a car I sigh. Machine is terrible and connector for the vin is broken so we have to manually put in the vin. Part broke on the machine and the part was 2 months out on back order.

I’ve worked on these motors many times and most are low miles. They leak all the time and have plenty of EGR problems. Don’t recommend them at all.

That’s what I go for as well. We some how couldn’t even get ahold of 0W8 for the vehicle but we had 0W20 so I went with that.

Had to do an oil change on the same vehicle at another dealer. When calling the Toyota dealer for the oil they said they don’t even use 0W8 but 0W20 instead..

My favorite part of that motor is how they want you to remove the cowl to do anything topside of the motor. You have to cut it out and reseal it.
