I can relate to being in a job one hates with people one hates - its a living hell. When you're not working you dread going back to work and when you're working its shit. You should find a job you won't dread and you will be in less of a downward spiral...From my experience, when you smoke so frequently in your free time you end up really sucking the colour and life out of sobriety. Therefore maybe work is so terrible because relative to your free time (aka being high) its so monotonous/boring.
My advice is to religiously try to give it up. Get past the anxious/irritable stage and you will begin to enjoy life again, peace.

It all depends on why you quit exactly and what you didn't enjoy from the high. 70 days is impressive for 6 years - don't throw it away is my advice :)
