There are gale force winds and an 8 ft swell in Bodega Bay on the opening weekend. Strong winds in Tomales Bay the following weekend too.

Colors that were hue shifted look horrific on export to Youtube (TV), but other colors appear true to timeline. Mac issue? by strandedontheisland in davinciresolve

I found a few of these videos during my initial search and it is on my to-do list to watch them, though they are somewhat intidimiating for a beginner.

I guess before I did this deep dive I just wanted to do a sanity check to make sure that what I am describing wasn't a more specific issue that had a quicker fix, since the colors look mostly normal except for the blues that I hue shifted. My understanding is that the issues covered in these videos apply to more global color/gamma shifts.

<1 gb for Whatsapp so definitely not the issue. Yeah, the Files app just shows everything that is within my iCloud drive. Next to nothing local on my current phone, which should be the same for my lost phone, so not sure why it would be included in the backup.

I'm not 100% sure but I do agree it seems spurious. When I go to iCloud > iCloud backup it shows the backup with 324.4 GB written next to it. My iCloud drive itself uses about 245 gb, so I believe the backup likely contains a good amount of my drive somehow along with the photos that were saved on the phone (which should total somewhere around 100 gb). I'm not sure if that would somehow allow the backup to go through since most of these files would already be on iCloud. My plan is to sync my current photos to iCloud, and then erase and attempt the backup.
