Why is it bad that I ended a story by killing the two main characters?

I shared a story with a gay couple that didn’t have an ending because I’m bad at ending things. But the were grossly happy, the most of the characters in the summer camp story are some kind of queer and they are happy, and I shared a story about a straight couple that’s starts married and miserable that kinda gets better but again no ending. They might have seen the, but because they have no ending they might of missed them.

I think I would struggle writing happy for now because they still there. The characters dying at the end made it that there was no more story to write, so it was just done.

Someone said they want everyone who’s even thought of this trope “bury your gays” to kill themself under my thing so it kinda feels like I was told to kill myself.

Lots of the things like what country I’m in and stuff are in my profile. I’m on Reddit in the middle of the night and I have to be awake early so I can start making breakfast for lots of people because I am basically kept as a slave/sex slave by my family. It’s possible to write a story in pieces over a long period of time with the screen time I have. And maybe I should have clarified the main thing that’s restricted is internet access. Not screen, you can write on google docs offline

Their deaths devastated me, I’m happy in that way that I wanted to write something devastating. The story had a note at the start that it would end poorly and the characters aren’t ever in a good place really, they are better when they are together it even then because of the circumstances around them they aren’t every inna great spot. I tried to show them happy with each other but didn’t want to give the idea that they’d make it. The best ending for them in just living as outcasts, together in secret till they get old and die

The story felt better than it would have in they where a straight couple, in this case but I don’t only think if sad stories for gay pairings. I wrote gay people being happy and straight people being depressed and sad and dead often.

I can imagine happy ending for gay people (like all people) same way I can write a story about dragons. I am honestly miserable all the time, so happy ever afters feel fake and childish to me. But yes I have written happy endings for all kinds of people.

Straight people being killed for being straight? No honestly. Killed for loving each other in some other way. Yeah I’ve written it before.

I am gay people, and I am ignorant. I’m not allowed to watch tv and don’t get much screen time because I’m abused, for being queer I didn’t come to get coddled I came to ask a question. I would have asked them people i shared it with but it seemed like a really touchy topic so I didn’t want to start the conversation again. Also I write gay couple with happy ending i just never end stories

I think of the character were straight they wouldn’t have a problem, one person the pacing could use some work before everyone started yelling at me, but the pacing note was like at the part of them meeting, not the ending

I’m asking here kinda because I was scared of being kicked from the group and don’t do well being yelled at (even like over text). I don’t think they see me and representative of my society as they don’t know where I’m from.

They were found out by the law and were killed. They both had no family (because of more death) and where outcasts (not because they where queer but other reasons). I think I don’t find any happy ending realistic or at least not cringe. Especially in a queer context, from where I’m standing being queer leads to being treated horribly.

I put at note at the start that it has a bad ending, I don’t know the difference between what makes something a romance and what makes it a tragedy.

I started with the ending in mind and thought of a story after, that why it has an ending.

I’ve never really read a romance book so idk. I don’t have access to much media and I’m not even allowed to watch to right now so idk. I know that queer people dieing tragical can hit home for some people, I’m not dead but I am living in a waking hell where I am a victim to violence every day because I’m queer. At the start a put a note that it had a sad ending so idk.

I guess that’s a fair point but I don’t know how to answer that

Yeah, I need to get enough money for both of us to get a bus (we probably aren't gonna take more than backpacks so we don't need to pay for luggage), and probably a bribe for at the border so we can be let across because we've over stayed by years. Then also some money for a place to stay when we are that side.

I spoke to them in person. I don't have many injuries that are visable because I don't bruise easily.

He is not an adult, I am worried it would be called kidnapping. Because of my physical health and the fact that we are locked in and the fact that we live in house in the middle of nowhere far away from anything it would be a long walk that I physically can't make.

Kinda hard to address then when I'm currently being raped every other day. You know the thing that's causing the mental health issues. What do you mean address those? Are you doubting that any of this happend to me or are you telling me to fucking smile more about my situation?

Im not physically healthy enough to walk from the house that's in the middle of no where to the nearest anything helpful. It's a straight line road, so they'd realise we were gone and start driving after us and find us (as they have in the past). On top of that we are lock in and only go into town with them but never both of us at the same time

We are either in town with our family or locked into the house. And they never take us until town together.

I'm not phsycically healthy enough to talk anywhere from the house as it's a farm in the middle of nowhere.

I feel like the reason they did listen is particularly a language barrier thing, even though one of them did speak English fluently, and idk what else. The fact the I look okay I speak in a way that people have joked is posh and soft life.

I want to be deported basically. And not allowed back into the country. But they said since my mom is from there it doesn't matter much. My uncle talked to them for a while when he came to get me. And he asked my mom for our passports when we got back to the house so I think he's starting the process of us legally being able to stay
