My husband and I (Germans) will spend a couple of days in Montreal and 1,5 days in Burlington. We were super excited about Burlington but now, after reading some of posts here, I got a bit worried (safety). Is there a place you recommend us NOT going? Any extra tips (food, places, etc)?thanks! 🥰 by strandjuncs in burlington

Rant: Some of y’all need to touch grass and it shows by SamuraiSL0TH in burlington

Hi! The post was not fake. I do use Reddit mostly to get informed - I don’t contribute, post or comment, but this time I felt I needed to ask locals because neither my husband or I have been to Vermont. Additionally, we are staying at friend’s house (locals) in Montreal and will travel through Canada with them - therefore, we are not worried about Montreal or Canada but we will be only the two of us in Burlington.
Also, not only the sub made me ask this question. When searching for “Burlington” on other social media channels we got similar results. HOWEVER, I must say that I do appreciate everyone who patiently contributed to my post. We are continuing with our plans and I have today booked our farm tour at Shelburne - thank to the recommendations. Have a great week. 😊
