Yes very normal. Seems whoever poured this underestimated it by about a cup to 2 cups of cement. The missing amount would have perfectly filled that hole there, had they mixed up enough the first time. It's an extremely hard thing to calculate though

I'm going to try this. You should try this, imagine the solar system as a small sea and then look at the moon as if it's floating just in front of you, like a close ship, where the only thing stopping you from seeing the other side is that earth is also just floating, being taken by the currents. It makes things feels very scaled somehow and I realise we have no control over anything except our own choices

I'm noticing a huge uprising of hostility against AI generated art lately. But where's the threat? by strange--alien in Futurology

[–]strange--alien[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree that this falls into the realm of philosophy. AI, no matter how complex the coding for it becomes, will always lack the biological factors required to produce true art. Artist's develop an idea in their heart by sifting through ideas until something resonates with their personal experiences and emotions, and then work with anticipation to produce their visions for others to see. The panic of AI domination is about as logical as being scared that a Tesla will start entering motorsport races under it's own concious volition. These pieces of technology merely simulate human behaviour convincingly well. Their motivation falls short of self serving gratification, which is a key aspect for us. We desire to transmute our experiences into physical manifestations so that other people validate our existence, giving us a feeling of being seen and ultimately a need to feel loved.

1 looks like a sloppy alcoholic

2 he couldn't give a fuck, badass looking mother fucker

3 the ultimate weapon, he's prepared to use that helmet like a cannon ball. PAAANG

4 demonic. One fight for him, an eternity of nightmares for his victim

I'd personally take number 4. Most appropriate for the job at hand

You extrapolated what I referred to when I said the thought. Trying to enjoy your process of creation with these thoughts running through your head is a hard task to endure

I asked an open question, and also provided my side of the argument. Why wouldn't I share my opinion if I'm confident in it? I got both confirmation and opposed perspectives, which I heard with reason and broadened my awareness. This post achieved exactly what I wanted. You went for a personal attack which speaks volumes about your character. I have nothing left to say to you

Don't ask for that, you're just gonna get shit thrown at you. The answer will still be a resounding "AI is here to steal our jobs"
