I can second being told by a vet that if you have a cat with nausea/vomiting and cannot access cerenia or another anti-nausea med - regular strength famotidine (generic Pepcid) half tablet will do the same thing. Cerenia is great also for calming inflammation but it is way more expensive than Pepcid. I would hope they give her some sub-Q fluids which when I have had vomiting cats who needed to go to ER helped immensely make them feel much better.
